Step out of your daily routine and immerse yourself in the heart of Ashtanga. Whether you are a beginner or a regular practitioner, these workshops are a space to refine your practice, connect with the lineage, and share energy with a community.

As a Level 2 authorised Ashtanga Yoga teacher under Guruji Sharath Jois, I offer regular Mysore sessions and therapeutic yoga. My work is also informed by my research and study of classical texts like the Bhagavad Gita.

In my classes, I provide hands-on adjustments to help students understand alignment and find stability in challenging postures like Sirsasana (headstand). This guidance ensures a safe and deep exploration of the asana.

A Sunday led class always brings people together with great energy. Practicing in a group allows us to learn from each other's focus and dedication, creating a shared experience that elevates everyone's practice.

My approach to teaching is guided by the wisdom of T. Krishnamacharya: 'Teach what is in you, not as it applies to you, but as it applies to the other.' Here, I am assisting a student in Sirsasana, adapting my guidance to their specific needs.

"Breathing is not only the process of inhaling and exhaling; it’s a reminder that every breath we take is a gift of life." In class, we focus on the breath as the foundation for every movement, connecting us to this vital life force.

Mantra chanting is a key part of my workshops. A mantra is a sound or vibration that, when chanted with awareness, activates a particular energy in the body. We explore how to use these sounds as a powerful means for focus and inner connection.

We explore different ways to vibrate higher internally during our sessions. This includes mantra chanting for tranquility, asana practice for energy, eating high-prana foods, and associating with positive people who uplift us.

A Guru, through grace, enters your heart and enables you to comprehend aspects of Divinity. This is a photo from our Guru Purnima gathering, a time to honor the teachers who guide us on our spiritual journey.

One little act of gratitude for the annam, or food, on our plate sends salutations to the hands that produced it and the elements of nature that created it. Here, we are sharing a meal with children, remembering to offer a prayerful gratitude before eating.

My teacher explains meditation as described in the Bhagavad Gita. The mind should be like a flame in a windless place, without flickering. This means our wavering thoughts should not disturb our inner stillness.

About Workshops & Community

In these sessions, I provide focused, hands-on adjustments to help you understand alignment and find stability in your postures. We balance the physical asana practice with dedicated time for chanting and exploring the philosophy of the Ashtanga parampara, ensuring you leave with a deeper understanding of your own path.
