About Upcoming Workshops & Courses
The most important thing for my classes is that there is no pressure. You do not need any experience to start; just bring yourself. For my wheel sessions, I keep groups small so I can personally help you with the centering and pulling, making sure you actually feel the clay move under your fingers.
I run a few different types of sessions, and they are all about letting go of your daily stress. My one-day workshops are perfect if you just want to try it out without committing to a full course. You will get a feel for the wheel or try some hand-pinching techniques to create your own mug or bowl. If you want to learn the full process, my 4-week beginner course is where we really dive in. We cover everything from prepping the clay to glazing your own finished pieces. For those who prefer working with their hands, my hand-building classes offer complete creative freedom to sculpt unique pieces. Everything happens at my rooftop studio in Whitefield, which is my little happy place. Just a heads up: pottery takes time! After you make your pieces, I have to fire and glaze them in the kiln. It usually takes a few weeks before they are ready for you to take home. Whether you are coming alone, with a friend, or as a family, the studio is always filled with such positive vibes. Let's make something together.
