About Try the Potter's Wheel

When you step up to the wheel, the most important thing is to let go of the need for perfection. We start with a simple demo to get your hands steady, and then it is just you and the clay. Do not worry if your first bowl wobbles—that is part of the learning. You will focus on centering and pulling walls, and by the end of the session, you will have a piece you actually made yourself to take through the firing process.
