Come and sculpt your own Ganesha idol with us. It is a peaceful, hands-on tradition that fills our Whitefield studio with pure joy every year. ❤️

A look back at the beautiful Ganesha idols from last year's workshop. The enthusiasm and love that everyone pours into their creations is what makes this time so special for me.

So many happy faces at our Ganesha idol making workshop. People of all ages come to learn, sculpt, and connect with this beautiful tradition.

It has become a yearly ritual to make our Ganesha idols together. The whole studio gets filled with positive and spiritual vibes. Here, a participant carefully adds details to her sculpture.

A glimpse of a couple completely focused during our weekend Ganesha workshop. It's a wonderful activity to share, working side-by-side to create something meaningful.

I was so happy and proud to see our Ganesha idol workshop featured in The Hindu. It's wonderful that more people are embracing making their own eco-friendly idols.

A tearful and blessed farewell to Bappa. It is always emotional, but I am so happy I get to make my own Ganesha with love and care. Ganapati Bappa Morya, agle baras jaldi aa.

About Eco-Friendly Ganesha Idol Making

Unlike our standard wheel-throwing classes, these Ganesha workshops are purely about hand-sculpting using natural, raw clay. You do not need any prior pottery experience to join. I guide you through every step, from forming the base to adding details like the crown and the modak in Bappa's hand.

These sessions are a ritual for me and my community. Every year, we gather to create an eco-friendly Bappa that feels personal and meaningful. Because we use raw, natural clay, these idols are perfect for traditional visarjan at home, leaving no harmful impact on the environment.

The workshops are beginner-friendly and held in small groups right here at my rooftop studio in Whitefield. We focus on manual techniques like pinching and slab-building to give your Ganesha a unique personality. Whether you are coming with your family, a friend, or on your own to find some peace, it is a lovely way to connect and get creative before the festival.

Since these are seasonal, we usually run them throughout August and up until the festival dates. Spaces are limited because I like to give everyone personal attention while we sculpt. If you are looking for a calm space to celebrate the spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi, I would love to have you here. 🥰🙏
