My classes are small by design, usually limited to five students, so I can give you direct, one-on-one attention as you navigate your first week of centering or trimming. It is not just about producing a pot, but about understanding the physics of clay, the ratio of your handles, and the patience required to finish a piece from start to glaze.
When you join a session at our Indiranagar studio, you are stepping into a process that goes deeper than the basics. I structure my wheel-throwing and handbuilding courses to provide a full 36 hours of instruction, ensuring you have enough time to actually grasp the craft rather than just rushing through a project.
Why Learn With Us?
- Small Batches: With a maximum of 5 students, I can step in with practical 'jugaad' hacks the moment you get stuck, whether your cylinder is collapsing or your trimming needs a lighter touch.
- Full Workflow: We do not just play with clay. You will learn the entire cycle: wedging, throwing, trimming, glazing, and kiln firing. You leave with 8 to 10 functional pieces you actually made yourself.
- Open Practice: Learning pottery is as much about muscle memory as it is about instruction. We provide open studio access so you can come in and practice when you have extra time.
We offer everything from Level 1 Foundation courses for complete beginners to Advanced Progression modules for those ready to tackle 3kg+ clay weights, complex lidded jars, or delicate vases. My goal is to build a community where people feel comfortable getting their hands dirty and sharing a laugh while they learn.
