About Contemporary & Ballet Dance Classes
I see dance as the ultimate active meditation - it’s how I connect with my body and make sense of the world. I’m not chasing perfect lines or textbook technique. For me, the best moments come from honest, raw movement and telling stories through dance. Practice isn’t about getting perfect, it’s about getting better. I learned that the hard way after a stubborn shoulder injury, but I just kept breathing and moving.
What My Classes Are Like
My sessions mix contemporary style and ballet fundamentals for all levels. Whether you’re after beginner contemporary dance lessons or want to push your boundaries with floor work dance techniques, you’ll find space here. I offer group classes, 1-on-1s, and online options for different routines and lifestyles. Classes happen across Bangalore and a few other cities, with both weekday and weekend batches.
Who’s Welcome
Everyone. Seriously, all ages from 8 and up. Never danced before? Want to try ballet fundamentals for adults? Or maybe you already groove and want to dig deeper. It’s all about that willingness to explore.
What You’ll Actually Do

- Ballet basics like floor barre
- Spirals, rolls, flow combos - all that good stuff
- Choreography, improvisation tools, partner work
- Creative movement classes that help you find your own style
Just breathe, move, and let yourself evolve. That’s the real art here.

My Story
Hey, I'm Suraj. Dance is my language, simple. After shifting houses or a long day, I find myself moving - that's how I talk to myself. Learned from cool places like Terence Lewis Institute, Attakalari, even Spain. But honestly, improvisation is my jam. Had a rough shoulder injury last year, right side went weak. Still, I keep moving, finding new ways. Giving up? Not happening. Dance is my life, even when I'm just thinking about it.
