About Competition Choreography & Training
What Drives Me
I see competition as more than just picking up choreography. It’s about building your own movement style, finding your voice, and growing through every rehearsal. There’s no perfect in dance - we work to get better, not just to win.
What Training with Me Feels Like
I dive deep into the essentials - Ballet basics, contemporary techniques like Cunningham, and Floor Barre. If you’re itching to try Flying Low, Flow Acrobatics, or partner work, we get into that too. I mix things up with improvisation, musicality drills, and physical theatre so you don’t just dance - you perform.
- Strong focus on body conditioning and awareness
- Loads of time spent on experimenting with new ideas
- You get to build your own contemporary solo choreography or join advanced group dance training
My Experience on the Global Stage
I’ve trained dancers who’ve represented India at global events like Dance World Cup. Watching kids and teens compete against teams from 59 countries in Portugal was wild - we made it to 22nd spot! Recently, I coached a team for Spain, prepping them for international dance competition coaching.
Who Usually Joins
If you’re an intermediate or advanced dancer, a school team, or someone dying to create a killer solo, I’ll push you further. I run special potential batches and core teams for those who want serious stage performance preparation.
- Classes in Bangalore, Mysore, Vijayawada, plus online options
- I prefer honest feedback and keep things real - not every rehearsal will be easy, but growth beats comfort any day

My Story
Hey, I'm Suraj. Dance is my language, simple. After shifting houses or a long day, I find myself moving - that's how I talk to myself. Learned from cool places like Terence Lewis Institute, Attakalari, even Spain. But honestly, improvisation is my jam. Had a rough shoulder injury last year, right side went weak. Still, I keep moving, finding new ways. Giving up? Not happening. Dance is my life, even when I'm just thinking about it.
My Work
Contemporary & Ballet Classes - I teach kids and adults, group or 1-on-1, online or offline. All levels welcome.
Movement Exploration - We mix Ballet, body conditioning, flow acrobatics, floor work. Not just steps, but finding your own flow.
Improvisation & Expression - Movement is a language here. We use contemporary improvisation, contact improv, partner work for confidence.
Open & Supportive Space - Come as you are. Build strength, flexibility, and have fun. No perfection needed, just progress.
