Inside the Classroom

A look into my group classes for all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced dancers. We focus on building a strong foundation through conditioning and technique, creating a supportive space for everyone to explore movement, build confidence, and have fun. You'll see snippets of our warm-ups, across-the-floor exercises, and choreography work.

Floorwork & Flow Technique

This is where we connect with the ground, learning to move with fluidity and control. My classes cover essential floorwork techniques like spirals, rolls, slides, and inversions, helping you build strength and navigate movement from gravity to lightness. These drills are for all levels and are fundamental to contemporary dance.

Ballet & Body Conditioning

We use ballet fundamentals as a powerful tool for conditioning the body. These exercises, including floor barre and basic positions, are integrated into my classes to build strength, improve alignment, and create a solid foundation for any dance style. This is open to adults and kids, even if you've never tried ballet before.

Student Performances & Projects

I am so proud of the stories my students tell through dance. Here are some moments from our video projects, stage performances, and annual showcases. It's a celebration of their hard work, dedication, and creative expression.

Partnering & Connection

Dance is also about connection and trust. In my classes, we explore partner work to understand weight-sharing, support, and non-verbal communication. These exercises help build awareness of yourself and others in a shared space.

My Movement Journey

Practice isn't about being perfect, it's about showing up and getting better. A stubborn shoulder injury taught me the importance of listening to my body and finding new ways to move. This is a look at my recovery process and the journey back to dancing full out.

The Art of Improvisation

For me, dance is a conversation with the body. This is where I explore movement without a plan, letting intuition guide me. These sessions are my personal practice, a form of active meditation where I find my flow and connect with the moment.
