Yoga is a work-in, not just a workout. Join me as I share my personal path, the philosophy of 'Sabr aur Shukr' (patience and gratitude), and how finding calm on the mat translates to life.

My practice is an internal, purifying journey. While it may look like a physical exercise from the outside, yoga helps me become more nurturing, kind, forgiving, and grateful.

This is my journey with Vrschikasana (Scorpion Pose) from 2019 to 2023. My philosophy is always progress over perfection. The goal isn't to achieve a flawless pose, but to become a better version of yourself.

In our fast-paced lives, it's easy for the mind to feel cluttered. I believe we all need a practice that brings more clarity, calmness, and bliss. For me, yoga is that anchor.

Yoga with Mayura turns 5. From my first workshop to teaching students across the world, my heart is full of gratitude for this journey. To everyone hustling, keep going and have faith.

Sabr aur Shukr. Patience and gratitude. And then one day, your turn will come, and you will receive everything you deserve. Until then, keep practicing patience and gratitude.

Everyone says you can't walk in the air, but yoga shows you that you can. This is a fun reminder that with practice, anything is possible. Yoga se sab Hoga.

The most important aspect of my practice is reflecting, being present with myself and my breath, and bowing down with gratitude to my teachers and the practice itself for making me who I am today.

My formula for mental health is to do something for your mind, body, and soul every day. Get enough sleep, practice gratitude, and be where your feet are.

Yoga is not merely a physical exercise but a practice which connects oneself to the Higher Consciousness. It is a journey inward.

Dear Yoga, thank you for choosing me. This practice is my happy place, and I am forever grateful for the spiritual connection it brings to my life.

About My Yoga Journey & Philosophy

When I look back at my own practice from 2019 to now, the biggest shift wasn't in how deep I could stretch, but in learning that 'perfect' is just an illusion. Whether you are struggling with a simple forward fold or working on a headstand, my classes focus on modifying poses to fit your body today. We move slow, we breathe, and we stop chasing the perfect shape because your progress matters more than the pose itself.
