About My Baking Philosophy: From Scratch with Real Ingredients

When you order a cake from me, it isn't coming out of a shelf-stable box. Because I bake only on order and use real butter instead of margarine or premixes, my sponges have a different density and texture than what you find at commercial bakeries. I keep the flavors honest, so if it is a chocolate cake, you are tasting actual Belgian couverture, not artificial cocoa powder. This is why my sponges require 24 hours notice. They need that time to be prepared fresh, never reheated, ensuring you get the best possible quality.
