Tall cakes are so chic, and I love creating them. For this birthday cake, I used a watercolour buttercream technique with delicate gold foiling and a cascade of golden spheres for a modern, celebratory look.

This is my modern take on the classic pineapple cake. It's a semi-naked or "naked" cake, with layers of moist pineapple sponge and light cream, decorated with dried pineapple flowers and edible leaves for a rustic, tropical feel.

About Custom Celebration Cakes

Because I bake everything fresh from scratch without pre-mixes, I need at least 24 hours of notice to manage my kitchen schedule. This time allows the sponge, buttercream, and hand-painted details to set properly, ensuring nothing is ever sitting on a shelf. If you have a specific color palette or a design idea, let me know early. I prefer working with buttercream textures and edible gold leaf rather than heavy fondant to keep the taste light and delicious.

Baking from Scratch, Always

My approach is simple: if I wouldn't eat it, I won't bake it for you. This means no refined sugar, no margarine, and absolutely no artificial flavouring. I use bura sugar, organic flour, and high-quality Couverture or Belgian chocolate. You will notice the difference in the texture of the sponge and the richness of the frosting immediately.

Designing Your Cake

I specialize in artistic, modern finishes. Instead of heavy, sugary fondant, I use:

  • Palette-knife painting: To create unique, textured abstract art on buttercream.
  • Watercolour techniques: For soft, elegant color gradients.
  • Natural decor: Fresh flowers, 24k edible gold varq, and wafer paper sails rather than plastic toppers.

How to Order

Since everything is baked to order, I do not maintain stock. My kitchen is located in Sector 86, Gurugram, and I deliver across the Delhi NCR region. Please get in touch at least a day in advance for standard celebration cakes. If you are looking for something more intricate or large-scale, a little extra notice helps me source fresh flowers and ensure every detail is perfect.

Why No Fondant?

I often get asked about fondant work. I choose not to use it because I want the cake to taste like a cake, not a sugar block. I achieve bold designs, sharp edges, and stunning visual impact using high-quality Swiss meringue buttercream and creative structural techniques instead.
