How I Train Cricketers

Cricket is way more than just batting or bowling. If you want to really stand out on the field, you need to train like an athlete. My approach is simple - we work on the exact skills and fitness that matter in a match, not random gym routines.

Power, Speed, and Strength

To hit sixes, bowl quick, or throw long, you need explosive power. I use cricket power training with resistance bands, tire workouts, and resistance sprints. These drills target the muscles you use for your swing, bowling action, and sprinting between wickets. It's tough, but you start feeling the difference fast.

Agility and Core - Always On

Quick singles, sharp fielding, and fast footwork all come from agility. Agility drills for cricketers are a big part of every session - ladders, cones, hurdles, you name it. And core strength? Ye bahut important cheez hai (This is a very important thing). Every training, we do cricket core stability routines because your power starts from the core.

Balance and Technique

Power means nothing if you can't control it. We use balance boards and unstable surfaces while practicing shots, so your base stays solid even when you hit hard. Alignment and weight transfer - sab line of the ball rehna (everything in the line of the ball) - is something I pay special attention to. Small details, big results.

The sessions are demanding. But when you see the results on the field, you’ll know why we do it. Bahut badhiya! (Very good!)

My Story

Hello, main hoon Malaya Sahoo, Bangalore ka batting coach. TTC Cricket Academy ka head coach bhi hoon. Old is gold, bhai. Fancy shots sab theek hai, but asli game basics se jeeta jaata hai. Mere training tough hai, seedha bolta hoon, koi shortcut nahi. Drills, drills, drills. Footwork, grip, alignment - yeh sab seekhoge toh game samajh aayega. Hum TRAIN LIKE ALWAYS BEST karte hain, progress hamesha chalu hai.

Batting Coach & Athletic Trainer - Main technical batting correction aur all-rounder cricket training deta hoon. Fitness drills, off-spin bowling basics, sab kuch cover hota hai.

Drill-Based Sessions - Hamare sessions full of cricket fitness drills and power hitting coaching. Har skill ke liye alag drill, quality bhi, quantity bhi.

Direct, Hands-On Coaching - Seedha feedback milta hai, English-Hindi mix. Ek choti change, bada result. Baat sirf improvement ki hai.
