Weekend Group Batting Program
Schedule & Access
- Includes 8 sessions per month held on Saturday and Sunday.
- 90 minutes per session with morning or evening slots available.
- Missed classes carry forward within the same week only.
Training & Drills
- Shared net practice on turf, astro, or clay wickets with rotational batting.
- Repetitive shadow practice and cone drills for footwork and power hitting.
- Cricket specific conditioning including sprints and agility hurdles.
- Occasional internal match scenarios for fielding practice.
Facility & Gear
- Outdoor open nets setup.
- Academy provides stumps, cones, and practice balls.
- Students must bring their own bat and protective gear.
Intensive Weekly Batting Camp
Frequency & Intensity
- Daily practice sessions (typically Monday to Friday or 6 days a week).
- High volume group batches ideal for seasonal skill building.
Training Modules
- Heavy emphasis on physical agility, stamina, and strength using resistance tools.
- Theme based focus such as pre season fitness or summer skill building.
- Higher frequency of internal practice matches due to daily availability.
Course Extras
- Occasional guest sessions by senior cricketers.
- Participation certificate provided at the end of the full camp duration.
Private 1-on-1 Batting Session
Core Coaching
- Dedicated 1 on 1 time with the coach without waiting queues.
- Hands on technical correction of stance, backlift, and head position.
- Continuous side arm ball throwing for high repetition of specific shots.
Tools & Analysis
- Exclusive use of bowling machine for consistent line and length practice.
- Immediate video review on handheld devices for spot correction of flaws.
Customization
- Tailored focus areas like playing against spin, backfoot punch, or power hitting.
- Tactical discussions on gap finding and strike rotation.
About Cricket Batting Coaching
I keep things simple - for me, getting the basics right is the only way to improve in cricket. Old school drills work, and that's what I stick to. Every session is packed with hands-on training where we fix your stance, backlift, and help you understand why each shot matters, not just how to play it. Sab line of the ball rehna (everything should be in the line of the ball) - I repeat this a lot.
What You'll Learn
- Stance and alignment training is where we start, making sure your head, shoulder, and toes are in sync.
- The top hand is your control - I use drills that make it stronger. Top hand kya karta hai? (What does the top hand do?) You'll know by the end.
- We cover all shots: cover drive, on drive, backfoot punches, cut, sweep, flick.
- Power hitting drills come next - with resistance bands, tires, whatever helps you get that strength.
- Footwork and weight transfer make a huge difference, so expect hurdle and cone drills.
How We Train
My sessions are tough. I’m on the field with you, correcting every detail. We use standard gear and a few creative things, like tires for stability. Match simulation coaching is included - ye bahut important cheez hai (this is very important) for handling real pressure and learning to rotate the strike.

My Story
Hello, main hoon Malaya Sahoo, Bangalore ka batting coach. TTC Cricket Academy ka head coach bhi hoon. Old is gold, bhai. Fancy shots sab theek hai, but asli game basics se jeeta jaata hai. Mere training tough hai, seedha bolta hoon, koi shortcut nahi. Drills, drills, drills. Footwork, grip, alignment - yeh sab seekhoge toh game samajh aayega.
