Cricket Strength, Speed, and Agility Drills

To dominate the field, you need more than just technique. My training focuses on building explosive speed, match-ready stamina, and the core power required to hit with control.

This is a batting strengthening session. We are using agility ladders and resistance band sprints to improve foot speed and build lower body power, which is essential for both batting footwork and explosive running.

Here we focus on batting agility and stability. Drills like single-leg hops over hurdles and ladder work improve balance and coordination, ensuring your base is solid whether you are playing a shot or turning for a quick run.

This is a top-hand strengthening exercise done without a bat. These dynamic movements build strength and flexibility in the shoulders and arms, which translates directly into more powerful and controlled shots.

We work on core strength in every session because all power starts from the core. These specific core exercises are designed to build a strong and stable midsection, which is crucial for batting, bowling, and fielding.

About this collection

We do not believe in random gym routines. Every exercise here is designed to improve your on-field performance, whether it is flipping tires for rotational power or using ladder drills to fix your foot speed. If you want to see progress, you need to train with purpose, ensuring every movement translates into better batting and fielding.

Cricket is an athletic sport. If you cannot sprint between the wickets or hold your balance when the ball moves, your technique alone will not save you. My sessions are designed to build the engine you need to perform under pressure.

Why focus on athleticism?

Most players focus only on holding the bat. I focus on the body holding the bat. If you cannot generate power from your core, your shots will lack force. We use tractor tires, resistance bands, and heavy-tension tubes to build that explosive rotational strength. This is how you learn to clear the boundary with ease.

The Drill-Based Approach

  • Agility & Footwork: We use ladders and cones to speed up your feet. In a match, if your feet are slow, your shot selection is poor. These drills make sure your base is always solid.
  • Core Stability: Power starts from the center of your body. We don't just do crunches; we do cricket-specific core routines that help you stay balanced during aggressive shots.
  • Real Conditions: All training happens on our red soil outdoor grounds in Bangalore. There is no air conditioning because matches are not played in climate-controlled rooms. We train in the heat to build the stamina you actually need.

Everything we do is about efficiency. We use video analysis to show you exactly where your alignment is off. If you are serious about becoming a complete cricketer, be ready to work hard. There are no shortcuts.
