Correct weight transfer is the key to timing and power. Here, we are working on drills that teach the batsman to move their weight smoothly into the shot, ensuring they are balanced and in a strong hitting position.

This batting training session focuses on getting into the right position to play a drive. I am working with the player on their initial movement and ensuring their head is over the ball at impact.

Good footwork is non-negotiable. This drill is designed to improve footwork skills, helping the batsman get to the pitch of the ball quickly and efficiently, whether they are playing forward or back.

Here we are focusing on batting alignment. I make sure the player's body is perfectly lined up to the ball, which is crucial for playing straight and minimizing the risk of getting out.

This video shows the entire batting process, from stance to shot execution. We are working on maintaining correct batting alignment throughout the shot to ensure a clean and powerful connection.

Back to batting basics. This session includes drills for improving stance, grip, and initial movement, which are the fundamental building blocks for any successful batsman.

This footwork skills improvement drill is important for playing spin. The batsman is practicing using their feet to get down the pitch and meet the ball before it turns too much.

About this collection

You think your problem is power, but it is usually your head position. I use video analysis in our sessions to show you exactly why you are mis-timing the ball. We focus on getting your weight transfer right so that every shot you play is balanced, controlled, and in the line of the ball.

Power means nothing if you are hitting into the air. Whether you are playing forward defense or a pull shot, your alignment must be perfect. At our training centers in JP Nagar and Kothanur, we move beyond simple knocking. We use video analysis to identify exactly where your head falls or why your back foot punch is failing.

We utilize specific tools—resistance bands, balance boards, and 40-60kg tires—to stabilize your core and train your muscles for the specific demands of batting. You will practice drills designed to force proper weight transfer, ensuring you are never caught off-balance.

My coaching is straightforward: we do not do shortcuts. We train like athletes. We work on the line of the ball until it becomes muscle memory. This program is for players who want to stop repeating the same technical mistakes and start scoring consistently.
