Power Hitting and Shot Development Coaching
Power hitting isn't about swinging blindly. I teach you how to use your core and body alignment to get that explosive bat speed and clean contact every time.
This is a pure power hitting session. The focus is on generating maximum bat speed and a full swing through the line of the ball to get the distance and elevation needed for hitting sixes.
Power hitting practice from a stable base. This drill helps the batsman practice hitting through the ball with full force, focusing on a smooth transfer of energy from the body through the bat.
Here I am providing one-on-one coaching during a power hitting session. I focus on making small adjustments to the batsman's technique to help them generate more power and hit the ball cleaner.
This power hitting training focuses on maintaining balance while executing a full-blooded shot. The goal is to hit with power without falling over, ensuring the shot is both aggressive and controlled.
We use a tire to practice power hitting against a solid object. This helps the batsman feel the right impact point and learn to use their entire body to generate force, improving their overall power game.
This is a dedicated power hitting training drill. The batsman works on maintaining a stable head position and achieving a high backlift to generate the momentum needed for big shots down the ground.
A close-up look at a power hitting drill. I am feeding balls to the batsman to ensure they get into a good position, keep their head still, and swing through the line of the ball with full commitment.
About this collection
You might think power hitting is just about arms, but it is actually about stability and core rotation. In my 1:1 sessions, we use 40kg to 60kg tire drills and heavy-tension resistance bands to build that explosive speed. You learn to connect with the ball using your whole body weight. If your feet are not aligned and your head is moving, that power goes nowhere.
My Coaching Philosophy
I don't teach shortcuts. Whether you want to master the slog sweep, the pull shot, or a powerful lofted drive, the foundation remains the same: basics. We start by fixing your stance and grip, then move into the 'why' behind every shot. You need to understand how your top hand controls the swing and how your weight transfer affects your follow-through.
The Drill-Based Approach
My training is intense and physical. We train in natural outdoor heat at our facilities in JP Nagar, Kothanur, and Ajjagondanahalli. Here is what a typical power hitting session involves:
- Tire Drills: Flipping and hammering heavy tires to build shoulder stability and core rotation.
- Resistance Training: Shadow batting against heavy bands to strengthen your top hand and muscle memory.
- Technical Feedback: We use smartphone-based video analysis to instantly correct your head alignment and toe position.
Why Train With Me
If you want to clear the boundary consistently, you have to train like an athlete. My sessions are not about random gym routines. We focus on the exact muscles used for your bowling action and your batting swing. We track your progress, fix your errors, and ensure that when you step onto the field, your technique is solid under pressure. Train like always best.
