Training Structure
- Frequency: 12 to 16 sessions per month (3 to 4 days weekly, approx. 2 hours per session).
- Surfaces: Rotation between Green Astro-Turf mats for turn consistency and Open Dirt/Grass nets for match reality.
- Drills: Implementation of Constraint-Led drills including unilateral balance work and chair drills for hip drive.
- Classroom: Outdoor whiteboard sessions analyzing field placements, batter psychology, and game planning.
Match Simulation
- Scenarios: Open net sessions competing under specific conditions like defending low scores.
- Pressure Training: Drills focused specifically on bowling maiden overs and building dot-ball pressure.
- Fielding: Reflex training for caught-and-bowled chances and boundary riding techniques.
Conditioning & Management
- Tracking: Manual or digital logging of accuracy, net wickets, and fitness benchmarks.
- Fitness: Cricket-specific agility work using medicine balls, tires, and cones focusing on rotational power.
- Mental: Integrated talks on deliberate practice and handling match pressure.
10-Session Technical Correction Block

- Video Analysis: 2 detailed sessions (start and end of block) using frame-by-frame software to identify release point and alignment issues.
- Custom Plan: Prescription of 3 to 4 specific drills tailored exclusively to the player's mechanical issues.
- Reporting: Visual comparison file provided to the athlete showing geometric improvements in action.
Skill Correction
- Ratio: Semi-private attention (1:3 or 1:4) for constant monitoring.
- Mechanics: Focus on advanced mechanics including grip variations (Carrom ball, Googly) and rotational biomechanics.
- Goals: Outcome-based training where each session targets a singular micro-goal (e.g., non-bowling arm pull).
Feedback Loop

- Video analysis is a big part of my process. Every 10 sessions, we sit together and break down your footage. You get to see your own 'before & after' - no guesswork.
- Drills are not generic. After each analysis, I design drills that target your specific issues. That’s how you get better, session by session.
Mindset Training for Pressure Situations
Handling negative thoughts on the field is tough. I teach you techniques to flip self-doubt into action. We do mental conditioning for cricketers, focus on deliberate practice, and tackle adaptability head-on. I always explain the 'why', so you become a smart, tactical spinner - yochane maadi maadu (think and do it).
Tactics & Match Simulation
To outsmart batters, we use whiteboards in nets, develop tactical spin bowling strategies, and run pressure simulations. You’ll learn smart variations and how to keep your body language in check.
Fielding & Performance Fuel
A spinner’s job isn’t done after bowling. We drill caught & bowled, catching technique, and strong follow-throughs. Plus, I guide you on elite sports nutrition for peak training, performance, and recovery.

My Story
Strive & Shine Spin Bowling Academy started with a simple dream – ek ghar banana tha spinners ke liye (wanted to make a home for spinners). Yahaan, it’s not just bowling in nets. We talk mindset, nutrition, how to field off your own bowling. Players like Prayag, Reethu, Chandasi, even Ava from South Africa – unka progress hi asli reward hai (their progress is the real reward). Negative thoughts aate hai sabko (everyone gets negative thoughts), but we teach how to use that. Bas, har spinner ko shine karna hai (just want every spinner to shine).
