Experience the joy of slow living at our HSR Layout studio. Whether you are curious about the wheel or love hand-building, join us to shape, spin, and create your own ceramic stories.

This is where the magic begins. There's nothing quite like the feeling of wet clay spinning on the wheel, ready to be shaped into something new. It’s a moment of pure focus and potential.

Look at that smile! This is the joy we aim to create in every class. The moment you lift your very first creation off the wheel is truly special, and we love sharing it with you.

Beyond the wheel, hand-building opens up a world of possibilities. Here, a student uses a simple wooden stamp to add a personal, leafy texture to a plate made using the slab technique.

Pottery is an experience best shared. We love hosting couples and friends for a 'clayful date', where you can connect, laugh, and create something beautiful together.

Just a few of the wonderful pieces made by our students in a 10-day workshop. From beaded bowls to a cup inscribed with 'chai', each piece tells a unique story.

We love celebrating festivals with clay. Our special Christmas workshop is a chance to handcraft your own festive ornaments and add a personal touch to your holiday decor.

Wondering where to start? We have a path for everyone. This breaks down our most popular workshop formats, from a one-day taste to a comprehensive 10-day course.

From shaping on the wheel to intricate carving and painting, this is a little peek into the journey our students take. See how a simple lump of clay transforms into a personal masterpiece.

This is me, Arunima, in my happy place. I started Maati Sona to share my love for clay, and it's a joy to welcome so many creative souls into our studio.

The gentle scooping of clay to create texture is one of the most therapeutic parts of pottery. This is a quiet moment of focus, where every groove adds character to a handmade mug.

When you finish a piece, the journey does not end at the studio. After you shape your clay, it goes through a delicate process of drying, trimming, glazing, and two rounds of firing up to 1200 degrees. Expect your finished, food-safe ceramic piece to be ready for collection in about three to four weeks.
