About The Art of Glazing & Painting

Once you have finished painting your piece, the real magic happens in the kiln. We double-fire your work up to 1200 degrees Celsius, which turns those delicate underglaze colors into durable, food-safe finishes. You will need to wait about 3-4 weeks for your piece to be ready for collection, but seeing your own design emerge from the furnace makes the wait worthwhile.
