Meditative Sound Design and Quiet Audio
I capture the quiet, ambient sounds that often go unnoticed. Whether for ASMR content, films, or personal meditation, I focus on authentic, high-fidelity audio that helps listeners pause and breathe.
The simple, mesmerizing sound and sight of a crackling fire. I create these short, meditative videos to offer a moment of calm and demonstrate the power of focused, natural sound.
Noticing the details of shifting sand on a quiet beach. This is an example of my macro-sound work, where I get close to the source to capture subtle textures and gentle movements.
An ASMR experiment using lemon seeds and bottle caps to create organized, repetitive beats. This shows my playful and creative approach to sound design, finding rhythm in everyday objects.
About Meditative Moments: The Art of Quiet Sound
Recording quiet sounds requires more than just a microphone; it requires a non-intrusive approach that lets the environment breathe. I use a professional field recorder with 32-bit float technology to ensure dialogue and ambient textures are isolated cleanly, even in busy city spaces, so the final output feels intimate rather than processed.
Silence is rarely empty. When I approach a project, whether it is for an indie documentary or a specific ASMR series, I look for the rhythm within the location. My gear setup includes professional Zoom F-series recorders and shotgun boom mics, which allows me to capture delicate details like the crackle of fire or the shifting of sand without the artificial noise often found in studio recordings.
I do not believe in using heavy post-production tricks to mask a recording. My process is about finding the texture in the original source material. If you are looking for sound design that serves the story rather than overpowering it with stock effects, we will likely get along well. I work primarily in Bangalore and Jaipur, but I am happy to travel for projects that align with a slower, more deliberate pace.
Whether you need audio for a podcast, a meditative film, or a unique sonic identity for your brand, I focus on capturing sounds that evoke a sense of presence. Let’s talk about the specific mood you want to build and how we can bring that to life.
