I create films and soundscapes that prioritize feeling over flash. Here is a look at the stories I have helped capture, edit, and shape through my practice.

This is what I love to do: finding a quiet moment to listen. Here, I'm recording the song of a Eurasian collared dove. My location sound recording service is all about capturing these pure, authentic sounds of nature for films, art projects, or soundscapes.

I was the sound recordist and facilitator for 'Kathi, Kathi, Kaarana', a documentary anthology about the workers of Bangalore. This project shows my passion for using sound to help tell important, true stories from the community.

A glimpse into my 'Sounds of the City' series, this time in Bangalore. I focus on capturing the contrast between quiet nature and noisy traffic, creating a soundscape that tells the story of a place. This is a great example of my on-location ambient audio recording.

A look at '4 queries: What’s Going On Here?', a choreographic film I edited and sound designed. This project highlights my skill in slow cinema editing, where I use a deliberate pace and thoughtful sound to enhance visual storytelling in performance art.

The rhythmic sounds of a famous Lassiwala in Jaipur. I specialize in capturing the authentic audio of everyday life, finding the music in the mundane for documentaries, travel content, or brand stories.

This was a curated listening session for my binaural album 'Across Deep Time'. It shows how my audio work can become a shared, immersive experience, bringing people together to listen deeply in a communal space.

Here is the story of how I started my independent firm, Window Works. It was a journey of finding the courage to follow my passion for authentic, unhurried projects and collaborating with good people to create something meaningful together.

About Featured

When I am on set, my focus is on capturing the specific 'hum' of a place—the ambient sounds that give a scene its honesty. I use professional field recorders and 32-bit float technology to ensure that whether we are shooting in a noisy city market or a quiet studio, the dialogue remains crisp and the background noise stays exactly where it should be.

My approach to film and audio is grounded in the belief that stories are felt rather than just seen. At Window Works, I focus on 'slow cinema' and documentary-style production where the pace allows the audience to actually breathe and engage with the content.

How I Approach Your Project

  • Location Sound: I treat sound recording as an exercise in deep listening. Using boom mics and blimps, I isolate dialogue while keeping the natural texture of the environment, which is crucial for documentaries, interviews, and brand stories.
  • Cinematic Editing: My video editing style is naturalistic. I avoid heavy filters or jarring transitions. Instead, I focus on color grading that matches reality and sound design that treats music and ambient noise with equal importance.
  • Podcast & Audio Mixing: I enjoy the technical side of making audio flow. I work on leveling to -16 LUFS standards, spectral cleaning to remove background hiss or traffic bleed, and removing filler words to ensure your message is clear and professional.

Why Choose This Approach

I work primarily in Bengaluru and Jaipur, but I am comfortable traveling to capture the sonic identity of different spaces. My workflow is collaborative, not transactional. I want to understand what makes your story unique before I hit the record button. Whether you are an indie filmmaker, a podcaster, or a brand looking for a more authentic way to connect with your audience, I am here to help shape that narrative.
