The road to HYROX starts here. This is a look at the energy and commitment as we gear up for the Mumbai edition. The training is intense, but the results are worth it.
I break down the HYROX challenge: eight 1km runs alternating with eight functional fitness stations. My program gives you the strategy, endurance, and strength to not just survive it, but thrive.

About this collection
The transition between the 1km run and the functional station is where most races are won or lost. My 6-week prep focuses specifically on that 'hybrid' fatigue, using race-simulation drills that mimic the chaos of event day. You’ll learn how to manage your heart rate and maintain your technique under load, not just how to lift heavy.
Building the Hybrid Athlete
HYROX isn't just a gym workout. It’s a test of aerobic capacity, grip strength, and mental grit. If you approach it like a standard strength session, you'll hit a wall by the second station.
My training program at Knox is built to bridge that gap. We focus on 'compromised running'—training your body to perform complex movements immediately after high-intensity intervals.
The 6-Week Prep Structure:
- Technique Workshops: We break down the 8 fundamental stations (Sled Push, Burpees, Wall Balls, etc.) to ensure mechanical efficiency. Every calorie saved on the SkiErg is one you have for the final run.
- Race Simulation: Using official HYROX gear like Concept 2 rowers and sleds, we run mock races so you know exactly what to expect on race day.
- Structured Programming: You get two live group sessions at our Gurgaon studio per week. For the remaining five days, you follow a digital plan designed to build your aerobic base outside of class.
