Leading my Kimaham dance company in a performance of 'Kavi Pranāmam'. Group choreography allows us to tell epic stories, moving as one body to create a powerful visual and emotional experience for the audience.

A glimpse into the expressive storytelling, or 'abhinaya', of Kuchipudi with a piece on "Krishna Nee Begane Baro". Through intricate hand gestures and facial expressions, I bring ancient stories and characters to life on stage.

The magic of performing with a live music ensemble. The spontaneous energy exchange between me and the musicians, featuring vocal, mridangam, and flute, elevates the performance to a truly divine experience.

I was deeply honored to receive the prestigious Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Yuva Pratibha Puraskar. This recognition inspires me to continue dedicating myself to my art and sharing it with the world.

About Featured

You are hiring more than a dancer—you are getting an artist who performs with live musicians to bring genuine energy to the room. Whether you need a 60-minute solo recital featuring the traditional Tarangam or a full-scale theatrical production like Kāla, I tailor the performance to your venue and audience. My approach is rooted in the Sri Vempati Chinna Satyam tradition, ensuring that every performance balances technical precision with deep emotional storytelling.

A Performance for Every Occasion

My work spans the spectrum of Kuchipudi, from intimate solo recitals perfect for family functions to elaborate group productions designed for large festivals and corporate stages. I believe that dance is a living dialogue. This is why I prioritize performing with a live musical ensemble—vocalists, mridangam, and flute—whenever possible. The spontaneous interaction between the dancer and the musicians creates a shared experience that pre-recorded tracks simply cannot replicate.

My Approach to Repertoire

I offer a variety of performance formats:

  • Solo Recitals: I curate these to include traditional invocations, pure dance (nritta), and expressive storytelling (abhinaya). I am best known for the signature Tarangam, where I dance on the rim of a brass plate.
  • Themed Dance Theatre: For a more immersive experience, I perform full-length productions like 'Kāla' (God of Death) or 'Raṅg' (The Blue Color Lord). These involve specialized theatrical makeup, complex lighting design, and a narrative flow that fuses classical technique with drama.
  • Ensemble Work: Leading my team from Kimaham School, I choreograph synchronized group pieces for larger venues. We focus on complex formations and high-energy Tillanas.

Technical and Logistical Details

When we collaborate, I take care of the artistic details—authentic silk costumes, temple jewelry, and professional makeup. For theatrical productions, I work closely with your technical team to ensure the lighting and stage cues enhance the mood. While I am based in Whitefield, Bengaluru, I regularly travel across India and abroad for performances. If you are looking to bring the beauty of Kuchipudi to your next event, let's discuss how we can create a meaningful experience for your audience.
