A look into the range of my practice, from intimate solo recitals to large-scale group productions with Punyah Dance Company, all brought to life through the rhythm of live music.

A moment of stillness from a recent solo concert at NCPA Mumbai. For me, every performance is a deep dive into the classical Bharatanatyam repertoire, connecting with the audience through pure dance.

The energy of dancing with my crew from Punyah Dance Company is unmatched. This is a moment from our production 'Abha', where we bring epic stories to life together on stage.

Dance is storytelling. This is an excerpt from Surdas’s Ramcharitavali, where I portray Rama's lament. It's in these expressive, or 'abhinaya', pieces that I feel the deepest connection to the characters and their stories.

A glimpse from the premiere of 'ATAH - connecting the dots', a duet I performed with Parshwanath Upadhye. Collaborative performances like this explore the dynamic synergy between two dancers, creating a unique narrative.

The Thillana is a piece filled with technicality and joy. This is from a performance of the Pahadi Thillana, where the rhythm of the live orchestra, from the mridangam to the flute, drives every step.

The connection with a live audience is everything. This was the view from the stage during my tour in Australia, a full house of art lovers. I am always grateful for such wonderful audiences.

Performing at the Kapaleeshwarar temple in Chennai was a special experience. Taking the dance back to sacred spaces, where it has lived for centuries, feels like a full circle.

A powerful moment from our group production 'Nagamandala'. The use of creative lighting and stagecraft helps us build a different world for the audience, making the mythological stories feel immediate and real.

A quick invitation to our new production, 'MAYA'. I believe in connecting directly with my audience, and I hope you can join us for our next show. Tappade banni, nodi, harasi.

Sometimes the stage is nature itself. Finding moments to connect with the art form outdoors, like here by the Elbow River in Calgary, is a refreshing part of my journey.
