About Group Productions: The Kimaham Ensemble
When I perform with my disciples from Kimaham, we focus on moving as one. We prioritize live musical accompaniment—percussion, flute, and nattuvangam—to create an authentic soundscape that pre-recorded tracks simply cannot match for an event of this scale.
Our group productions are built on the foundation of the Sri Vempati Chinna Satyam tradition, where precision meets emotional depth. When you book the Kimaham ensemble, you are not just hiring dancers; you are bringing a cohesive team that has trained together for years.
Whether it is a high-energy Tillana or a thematic production like 'Raṅg', my students and I work to ensure every formation is sharp and every gesture communicates clearly to the audience. We handle all logistics, including costumes, makeup, and stage coordination, so you can focus on the event itself.
We frequently perform for corporate dialogues, cultural festivals, and private commissions across India. Because we travel with our own support team, we are comfortable adapting to different stage sizes and technical setups. If you have a specific theme in mind, or if you need an ensemble that can perform a mix of traditional invocation and high-tempo storytelling, let's discuss your requirements. We provide the full ensemble experience, from 4 to 8 dancers, depending on the scale you need.
Avijit Das
Namaste, I’m Avijit Das. Dance is like breathing to me, and my greatest joy is watching my students from Kimaham School find that same connection on stage. Whether it is a cultural festival or a corporate gathering, we bring the beauty of the Kuchipudi tradition to every performance.
