About Residential Interior Design
What Home Means to Us
We see a home as an experience that goes beyond four walls. At Kham Design, I believe every space should make you feel something - comfort, warmth, and belonging. Design needs to solve practical problems first, so you get a place that works for your life, not just looks good.
Our 'Arivu' Approach
'Arivu' (sense/awareness) is at the heart of everything I do. I focus on sensory home design - sight, touch, sound, and smell matter. Think natural light filtering in, cool stone walls, warm wood underfoot, and breezes carrying earthy scents. I want your space to feel alive.
Telling Your Story
Your home should reflect your roots and dreams. I listen to your stories - like when a client said, “Namage Hampi shilpa beku, Malenadu feelingu irabeku” (We want Hampi’s architecture, but also the soul of Malenadu). That mix of heritage and aspiration is what I love to create.
My Design Language
I lean into Modern Indian home interiors with a minimalist touch. Earthy materials like terracotta, kotta stone, wood, and Athangudi tiles shape the vibe. Cozy swings, built-in seats, and open staircases add personality. Custom furniture for homes and smart storage make spaces work for you.
What I Offer
- Full home interiors, apartments, or just one room
- Eco-friendly interiors with cost-effective solutions
- Designs inspired by your culture, memories, and daily life
- Multi-functional furniture for compact spaces
If you want a home that feels honest, functional, and rooted, we’ll get along. I focus on trust, sustainability, and spaces you’ll actually love living in.

My Story
I'm Chetan from Kham Design. Honestly, a house isn’t just bricks and paint. It’s the way sunlight hits that old rock, or the feeling you get when you walk in—like Gifty’s family said, 'ನಾವು ಒಟ್ಟು ಈ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ a piece of mind ಇದೆ.' (Here, we’ve got peace of mind). We don’t fight the land. We listen. Sometimes a rock stays, sometimes a memory shapes a wall. That’s how we work.
My Work
What we do - We design homes, farmhouses, and apartments—right from architecture to interiors, anywhere in India.
Eco-friendly & sustainable homes - We use natural light, local stone, and terracotta. Our eco-friendly house design means less bills, more comfort.
Designing with the land - Split-level farmhouse architecture, city homes—every site is different. We let the land lead, not force it.
Your story, your space - Want a Mangalorean heritage home vibe? Or something that feels just like Malenadu? We weave your story into the plan.
