About Kids Martial Arts
I believe every kid deserves more than just a regular sport. Martial arts, for me, is about giving kids real tools for life - not just kicks and punches but a strong mind too.
What We Actually Do
Classes mix it up, so kids never get bored:
- MMA for children: We blend basics from boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), and wrestling. Kids learn both striking and grappling, not just one style.
- Self-defense skills for kids: Especially through BJJ, I show them how to keep situations safe without needing to fight hard.
- Drills and pad work: They get to hit pads and bags, work on coordination, and build muscle memory, all in a safe group.
- Fitness focus: Every session has agility drills, some hurdles, and strength work. They’ll sweat, but they’ll enjoy it.
How Classes Feel
Classes are structured but never stiff. We start with warm-ups, break techniques down step-by-step, and let kids practice with partners. Advanced kids get to try controlled sparring (always with full safety gear).
Who Fits In?
Kids from 4 years old up to teens, totally new or already sporty, everyone gets a chance to start from scratch. I focus on basics and building up, not shortcuts. Avvalothan (That’s it).
More Than Moves
What do kids really walk away with? Discipline, confidence building through martial arts, respect for others, and a lasting love for fitness. No hacks, just real progress - and that makes all the difference.

My Story
Hey, we’re Sai MMA Academy, but most folks know our coach as Babu. Started out with machines, ended up on the mats. Training’s our life – discipline, sweat, and a bit of family temple travel mixed in. Golds in grappling and kickboxing, always chasing that next belt. Our gym’s got heart, not just muscle. Pooja with the parents, festivals, all of it matters. For us, training, faith, and family go together. That’s how we roll.
My Work
MMA, Kickboxing, BJJ (Gi & No-Gi), Boxing, S&C, Fitness - We train all - kids MMA classes, adults, beginners, fighters. Personal and group slots. Everyone’s welcome.
Training Approach - No shortcuts. You’ll sweat, get pushed, and build a strong mind and body. It’s a lifestyle.
Community & Teamwork - We’re a BJJ family. Support, group outdoor fitness runs, and teamwork inside and outside the academy.
