I believe in hands-on coaching. Here, I'm working with my students on their boxing combinations, making sure they keep their hands up and their form is correct. We focus on building strong fundamentals from day one.
This is what Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is all about: using technique and leverage, not just strength. I teach kids how to control a situation safely, an essential skill for practical self-defense.
We make fitness fun. Drills with hurdles, cones, and ladders are a big part of our warm-ups to improve agility, speed, and coordination. The kids love the challenge and it builds a great athletic base.
Look at these future champions. I focus on building confidence that goes beyond the gym. Putting on the gloves for the first time is a big step, and I'm here to guide them through it.
For my youngest students, safety and fun are the top priorities. We use tools like these soft pool noodles to teach blocking and reaction time in a playful way before they even start sparring.

About Featured
I teach at two distinct setups. At our Hosa Road facility, we train on mats under a covered terrace where the focus is on raw drills and conditioning. At our HSR Layout studio, the environment is professional and climate-controlled, perfect for detailed grappling and technical striking. Regardless of the location, the approach is identical: consistent effort, clear form, and no shortcuts. Avvalothan.
Martial arts for kids is not about fighting; it is about building a foundation for life. I have structured our classes to be challenging but accessible, whether your child is 4 or 14. We do not use 'hacks' to get results.
Our Training Focus
- Striking: We start with the basics—boxing stance, jabs, and kicking mechanics. We use wall-mounted tyre pads and heavy bags to build coordination and muscle memory.
- Grappling: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is about control and leverage. For the little ones, we use soft-play drills to teach reaction times and blocking, ensuring they understand safety before we ever move to sparring.
- Fitness: Every session includes agility work, ladder drills, and hurdles. Kids will sweat, but they will leave knowing they worked for their progress.
The Two Environments
I operate out of two locations to make sure training is accessible, though the 'vibe' of each is different:
- Hosa Road: This is our core facility. It is a terrace-style setup with standard EVA mats. It is open, simple, and focuses heavily on fundamental drills and conditioning.
- HSR Layout: Located at a professional studio, this space offers climate control and high-density mats. It is ideal for technical grappling and closer-quarters work.
