Kids Martial Arts and Fitness Training
I don't just teach kicks and punches. I use martial arts to build discipline, coordination, and a strong body for every child, from 4-year-olds to teens.
Body awareness and control are crucial. We practice basic tumbles and rolls on soft mats to teach kids how to fall safely and move their bodies in new ways.
This video shows the variety in our training. From bag work and BJJ drills to building core strength with wall handstands, we work on creating well-rounded athletes.
About Building Young Athletes: Fitness & Fun
In our sessions, I focus on body mechanics rather than just raw force. You will see kids working on wall handstands, tumbling, and agility drills, not because they look cool, but because those movements build the essential core strength and spatial awareness needed for every sport they play.
My approach to training kids is simple: the shortcut is a lie. Whether it is boxing, kickboxing, or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, we focus on building a foundation that lasts.
What the training covers:
- Fundamental Movement: We start with body awareness. Before any striking, kids learn how to move, fall safely, and control their bodies on the mats.
- Striking & Grappling: We blend boxing and kickboxing mechanics with BJJ ground control. This gives kids a well-rounded skillset for self-defense and athletic development.
- Conditioning: Every class includes agility ladders, hurdles, and bodyweight strength work. They sweat, they get tired, and they get stronger.
The Reality of Our Classes Classes are structured but never stiff. We work in groups, which teaches respect and teamwork. At my Hosa Road facility, we use a practical terrace setup that keeps things grounded, while our HSR Layout studio offers a more finished, indoor environment.
I treat kids like athletes. They learn to hit pads, hold their ground, and practice controlled sparring, always with safety gear and my supervision. There are no gimmicks here—just consistent practice that builds confidence and discipline. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already sporty, they start at their own level and build up.
