Specialized BJJ Skill Workshops in Bengaluru
Skip the generic drills. These are deep-dive sessions where we break down specific grappling systems, from K-guard entries to competition-ready submission chains.
This workshop with our competitor Sanjay Nambiar was designed to build a championship mindset. The session focused on essential guard retention concepts and how to chain upper and lower body submissions, preparing students for the pressures of competition.
See our teaching method in action. This clip from Sanjay's workshop details the K-guard system, from entry to submission. The student testimonials highlight the practical, effective, and "filthy" nature of the techniques we teach.
The group from the "Dominate the Mats" workshop. We are proud to see so many dedicated students show up to sharpen their skills and invest in their competitive development.
We identify specific areas for growth and build workshops around them. This Footlock Masterclass with our instructor Nihaal was a comprehensive seminar on how to engage, sweep, and secure unbreakable footlocks, tailored for beginners to advanced students.
Our head coach Rohit Vasudevan often leads workshops that integrate different aspects of combat. This session focused on creating a seamless system from takedown to submission, providing a framework applicable to Jiu-Jitsu, self-defense, and MMA.
About Specialized Skill Workshops
Don't expect a standard class where you just sweat and leave. In these workshops, we dissect a single system—like leg entanglements or takedown-to-submission chains—for hours. You will learn exactly why a position works, how to troubleshoot when you're stuck, and the specific setups our coaches use in competition. It is about building a toolkit, not just collecting techniques.
Why We Do Workshops
Most martial arts classes are designed to keep the lights on—they are broad, general, and move fast. That’s not what these workshops are. At our Sadashiva Nagar facility, we treat workshops as a laboratory. We pull apart specific mechanics, like the K-guard or advanced footlocks, and examine them until everyone in the room understands the 'why' behind the movement.
What to Expect
- Systematic Breakdown: We don't just show you move A, then move B. We teach you how to chain them together. If you are learning a takedown, we show you the entry, the control position, and the immediate submission follow-up.
- Competition Reality: Our instructors are active competitors. When we teach competition prep, we aren't just reading from a rulebook; we are sharing how we manage the adrenaline dump, how we study an opponent’s bracket, and how we handle the pressure of the mats.
- Technical Depth: Whether it is an ADCC-focused ruleset session or a Women's Self-Defense seminar, the focus is on practical application. You will drill with resistance, ask hard questions, and actually test your knowledge against partners who are trying to solve the puzzle.
Who Should Attend?
These sessions are for anyone—from total beginners wanting to understand the basics of a system to experienced grapplers aiming for the podium. You do not need to be a pro, but you do need to be ready to work. If you are serious about refining your game, this is where you start.
