We aren't just a gym, we're a squad. From dedicated women's workshops to open community days, we focus on training together, pushing limits, and growing the sport in Bengaluru.

A shot from our Women's Only Jiu-Jitsu Workshop. Led by instructor Natasha, this session is designed for all levels and focuses on fundamental techniques and strategies to help women excel in their training. We are dedicated to growing the women's BJJ circle in Bangalore.

A packed house for our Saturday morning gi class. We are proud to have a large and diverse group of students who consistently show up to put in the work. This is what a strong training community looks like.

Our head coach Rohit speaking at the Jiu-Jitsu Community Day. We believe in sharing knowledge not just on the mats, but through events that bring athletes together to discuss the art and sport of martial arts.

About this collection

We don't just put women and beginners in a corner. When we run our workshops, like the women’s-only sessions led by instructor Natasha, we focus on bridging the gap between your first class and regular training. You will learn how to handle the intensity of a live gym and actually use these techniques when you are sparring, not just drill them in a vacuum.

Too often, people walk into a gym and feel like they are instantly drowning in intensity. At IJJ in Sadashivanagar, we do things differently. Inclusion is not a policy here; it is our method. Whether you are joining a women's-only workshop or an open mat session, the goal is clarity over chaos.

Our women’s workshops, often spearheaded by Natasha, strip away the intimidation factor. You are not just learning moves; you are learning the 'why' behind them, designed to help you hold your own in mixed-gender training environments. We focus on fundamentals like guard retention and escape systems that work regardless of size or strength.

We also believe the learning should not stop on the mats. Our community days are where we break down the wall between instructor and student. We talk about the sport, the training methodologies, and the reality of competing in ADCC or local circuits. If you have ever felt like BJJ is too aggressive or not for you, come by for a session. We will show you that the grind is universal, but the support we give each other is what makes the progress stick.
