My Journey as a National Champion

You aren't just hiring a coach; you’re learning the same biomechanics that helped me clock 10.71 seconds in the 100m. I don't just tell kids to run faster; I show them how to correct their arm drive and block starts, using the same technical rigour I used to win the 1996 Nationals.

In 1996, at the Open Nationals in Kolkata, I clocked 21.50 seconds in the 200m and secured the 100m double. Those wins weren't luck; they were years of mastering explosive starts and curve running mechanics. People see the medal, but I remember the grind—the thousands of hours perfecting the foot landing and the mental conditioning required to block out the noise.

Now, as the head coach of Go Speed Sprint Academy, I pass that exact blueprint to the next generation. Whether your child is training at our Vasant Kunj facility or at IIT Delhi, they are learning the same principles that made me a national record holder. We don't do 'gym fitness' here; we do track performance. We focus on hurdle drills, resistance sleds, and video analysis of race starts. When I watch my students compete, I’m not just looking for a win; I’m looking for the perfect form we practised during the week. That dedication is what helps us produce district-level athletes consistently.
