Join Our Hands-On Pottery Workshops in Koramangala
We’re all about clay, chaos, and creating cool stuff together. Whether you’re a complete newbie or ready to level up your pottery game, our Koramangala studio is open for you to get your hands dirty.
Want to make your own mug? In our Sgraffito workshop, we provide the mug body and teach you how to carve your own unique design. No experience needed, just a willingness to have fun.
We also offer Sgraffito workshops on different forms, like this lidded jar. You get to spend three hours learning, carving, and painting, and we'll glaze and fire it for you.
A peek into our Nerikomi workshop, where students learn to create checkerboard patterns with colored clay. This Japanese technique is super satisfying and creates incredible results.
Watch an artist bring a Hamsa-hand trinket dish to life with underglaze painting. This is the kind of detailed work you can learn in our surface decoration workshops.
This video shows the process of adding decorative sprigs to a wheel-thrown piece. It's a traditional technique that adds so much character and detail to pottery.
How to use a jade roller... on clay. One of our students used a jade roller to impress leaf patterns into her piece, a brilliant and creative texturing technique we love.
A glimpse into the process of making a green tea diffuser on the pottery wheel. This is from one of our students preparing for the 'Glazed '22' exhibit.
About this collection
Forget everything you know about stiff, quiet art classes. At our workshops, like the Sgraffito sessions, you aren't just watching; you're picking up the tools, choosing your own design, and learning to carve directly into the clay. Whether it’s your first time touching stoneware or you’re a regular, we’ll handle the glazing and firing so you get a finished, food-safe mug or planter to take home in two weeks.
We believe pottery is better when it's messy. Our workshops are designed to be a total break from the digital grind. From our one-day Sgraffito and Mishima introductions to the more involved Nerikomi classes, we cover the real techniques used by pros. You don't need to be an artist to start, as all you need is a bit of curiosity.
We keep our batches small and super flexible, fitting around your busy 'Luru life. If you’re looking to master wheel-throwing or just want to try hand-building quirky mugs and planters, we’ve got a spot for you. It’s not just about the final piece, it’s about the community vibe we have going on. Our students don’t just leave with ceramics, they leave with new friends and a solid appreciation for why clay sometimes disagrees with you. We’ve even hosted student exhibits like 'Glazed' to showcase the work our community pours their hearts into. If you’re ready to trade your screen time for studio time, drop us a message and let's get you on the wheel.
