More than just a workshop space, GOAK is a community. Whether you are here to master wheel throwing or just want to get your hands messy, you will find your people in our Indiranagar studio.

A live walk-through of our student pop-up, Ügam. This is the culmination of our professional course, where students showcase and sell their very first collections. The energy and pride are palpable!

A personal invitation from me and my friend Namrata to our first Ügam exhibit. We were so excited to showcase the work of eight new potters.

Our invitation to the second year of Ügam. We were thrilled to feature over 800 wares from 10 talented potters, plus other local food and craft entrepreneurs.

The joy and gratitude after a successful Ügam event. It’s a testament to the power of community, shared passion, and the magic that happens when we celebrate art together.

A glimpse into another successful student pop-up. These events are a huge milestone, giving students real-world experience in everything from production to entrepreneurship.

We celebrated our third anniversary the only way we know how: with a messy, loud, and gloriously competitive "Wheel Wars" tournament. This is the fun, chaotic energy of our studio fam.

A wrap-up of a busy week at the studio. From sorting mountains of student bisqueware to celebrating a tiny visitor's birthday, it's all about clay, community, and cupcakes.

The first episode of "This Week at GOAK." A week full of dancing, throwing pots, and the general chaos and fun of our studio community.

Episode 2 of "This Week at GOAK." Anniversary week meant lots of cake, clay, and getting ready for our pottery games tournament.

Episode 3: Back to the clay chaos after the party. Classes, throwing, bisquing, and a satisfying stack of freshly fired bowls.

About The Studio Fam: Our Space & Community

Our classes are capped at five people, so you are never lost in a crowd. Whether you are learning to center for the first time or trying to troubleshoot a lopsided rim, I am standing right there to help you with the actual mechanics of the wheel, ensuring you leave with functional pieces you are proud to use.

At GOAK Ceramics, we believe that pottery is as much about the company you keep as it is about the clay itself. We have built this studio in Indiranagar to be a true ‘studio fam’—a place where the atmosphere is loud, messy, and supportive.

Why our space is different

When you join our sessions, you get more than just an instructor. You get a mentor who is obsessed with the technical details, from handle ratios to specific throwing postures. We don't just teach the basics; we show you the ‘jugaad’ (hacks) that actually make the process easier and more intuitive. Whether you are signing up for Level 1 Wheel Throwing or our Sculptural Handbuilding course, you are getting dedicated wheel time and access to firing and glazing without the usual studio stress.

The community beyond the wheel

We are not just a classroom. We are the home of Ügam, our student pop-up event where new potters showcase their collections. We host competitive 'Wheel Wars' tournaments, celebrate birthdays, and have long huddles that end in cake. It is this mix of learning and genuine connection that brings people back.

Plan your visit

Located in the heart of Indiranagar, our studio is accessible and fully equipped. We provide everything you need—clay, aprons, tools, and firing. You don’t need to bring a thing except an open mind. If you are looking to start your pottery journey in Bangalore, come by, get a little dirty, and see how our community shapes the clay.

I’m Gauri, and I built this studio because I believe the best things happen when we make a mess together. I am less about 'perfect art' and more about the grit, the learning curve, and the real conversations that happen while we are all focused on our wheels.
