Yoga, Flexibility & Recovery Training

True strength isn't just about lifting heavy; it's about movement quality and longevity. I combine yoga and mobility work with my strength training to ensure you stay injury-free and focused.

I always have work to do, and that includes recovery. Using a foam roller on my quads helps release muscle tension and improve flexibility after a tough leg workout.

Flexibility isn't a bad thing. Taking the time to stretch, like in this seated hamstring stretch, is crucial for maintaining mobility, preventing injury, and helping your muscles recover after training.

Less stress, more stretch. This video shows the progression into a full wheel pose (Chakrasana), a deep backbend that opens the entire front of the body and builds strength in the arms, legs, and spine.

Foam rolling has many benefits, including relieving muscle tension, improving range of motion, and speeding up recovery. It's a key part of my routine and something I teach all my clients.

Peace cannot be forced; it can only be achieved by understanding. I find my peace and mindfulness through meditation, often in nature. This practice helps balance the intensity of physical training.

I can't always control what happens outside, but I can control what goes on inside. This advanced yoga pose, a variation of Visvamitrasana, requires immense flexibility, strength, and focus, embodying the connection of mind and body.

Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self. Poses like this seated spinal twist with a bind help improve flexibility and bring a sense of calm and introspection after a hard workout.

This seated forward bend (Paschimottanasana) is one of the best stretches for the lower back and hamstrings. It also helps fight stress, improves digestion, and is a great tool for weight loss and overall health.

About Yoga, Flexibility & Recovery

I don't just teach poses; I use yoga as a tool for recovery and biomechanical correction. Whether we are foam rolling to release fascia tightness after a heavy squat session or working on spinal alignment to fix 'tech neck' from desk work, the goal is to balance the intensity of your gym sessions with intentional stillness.

Flexibility is often the missing link in athletic performance. Many clients come to me hitting a plateau in their deadlifts or squats, not because they lack raw power, but because of restricted range of motion in their hips or ankles. I integrate targeted mobility drills into every program, using techniques like foam rolling to improve blood flow and reduce muscle tension. This is not just about relaxation; it is about priming your body for the next heavy lift.

For stress management and postural health, I incorporate classical yoga asanas. We work on poses like Paschimottanasana (seated forward bend) to address lower back tightness and aid digestion, and more advanced progressions like Chakrasana (full wheel pose) to build strength through the spine and shoulders. These aren't just aesthetic poses; they are functional movements that combat the stiffness caused by long hours at a desk.

If you struggle with 'tech neck' or chronic lower back pain, my approach focuses on correcting your neutral spine alignment. I guide you through slow, controlled movements that build a connection between your breath and your musculature. By balancing high-intensity weightlifting with mindfulness and deep stretching, we build a body that is as resilient as it is strong. Whether you are training with me at Fitness First in Dwarka or at your home in South Delhi, we will dedicate time to these recovery protocols to keep you moving pain-free.
