Yoga and Nature Retreats for Mindful Living
Step away from the city. I host small, immersive retreats that blend movement, breathwork, and deep stillness, helping you return to your roots.
This video, titled 'Anubhuti' or deep feeling, captures the essence of my yoga retreats. It shows moments of surrender, self-acceptance, and finding peace within a supportive community and natural setting.
Participants practicing seated meditation and pranayama outdoors during a retreat. Connecting with the breath while surrounded by fresh air and greenery deepens the sense of calm and grounding.
Performing a yoga asana by the water during a nature retreat. My practice is about scheduling your priorities, and making time for self-care and connection with nature is a vital part of that.
In a moment of reverence during a trip to Thailand, practicing a balancing pose before a great Buddha statue. This image reflects the truth that conquering oneself is the greatest victory.
This video shows a moment of surrender and meditation in front of the Adiyogi statue. It is a reminder that healing happens by feeling our emotions fully, even when it is difficult.
About Yoga & Nature Retreats
My retreats are about 'Anubhuti', or deep feeling. We move away from the noise of the city to focus on pranayama and sound healing in nature. You will not find rigid schedules here, just space to breathe, meditate, and let your body settle into its own rhythm.
Finding Your Core
In Bengali, we say Shikore fire jaoya mane amader ostityer mulke khunje paoya, which means returning to your roots is finding the core of your existence. In our fast-paced lives, it is easy to lose that connection. My retreats are designed to help you peel back the layers and just be.
What We Do
We combine movement with deep rest. The days are structured around:
- Pranayama & Meditation: We start by settling the mind, often outdoors where the fresh air aids in grounding.
- Sound Healing: I bring my Tibetan Singing Bowls and Crystal Harps to these sessions. These aren't just sounds; they are vibrations meant to release tension held in the body.
- Nature Immersion: The environment is part of the healing process. Whether we are practicing by a lake or in a quiet forest space, the goal is to let the silence of nature do the work.
Who This Is For
This is not a bootcamp. If you are feeling burnt out, disconnected, or just need to hit the pause button, these retreats provide a safe container to do so. You do not need to be an expert in yoga to join. You just need to be willing to listen to what your body is trying to tell you.
Come ready to drop the to-do lists and simply experience the stillness.
