About Strength & Conditioning for Athletes
When training athletes, I do not just put you on a treadmill. We break down the exact movements your sport demands, like the explosive power needed for a smash or the agility to cover a court. I use a mix of modern strength metrics and traditional flow patterns to ensure you gain speed without risking injury.
My approach to sports conditioning is built on identifying the specific gaps in your movement. If you are a runner, we analyze your gait and impact. If you are a badminton player like my student Abhinav, we focus on reaction time and rotational strength.
The Science and the Tradition
I combine tech-driven analysis with ancient training tools. We use devices like the NordBord to measure your strength asymmetries and check your force output. Once we have the data, we use tools like heavy Bhim Gadas and Karlakattai to build functional grip strength and core stability. It is about getting you to move better, not just heavier.
Why My Programs Work
- Biomechanical Assessment: Every athlete starts with a diagnostic session to root out injury causes. We look at joint range of motion and functional movement.
- Sports-Specific Drills: I create training flows that mimic your game. We work on agility ladders, interval training, and reaction drills.
- Consistency: My monthly S&C packages include 12 sessions. This frequency allows me to monitor your form closely and adjust your load before you hit a plateau or pick up a strain.
