About The Student Experience: Group Classes & Community
When you train here, you aren't just memorizing choreography. Because our cohorts are strictly limited to six to eight students, you get immediate corrections on your form and cueing technique. You will work alongside peers on authentic Merrithew™ reformers, learning how to spot postural deviations in real-time, just as you will with your future clients.
Our approach to STOTT PILATES teacher training in Bengaluru is rooted in my background as a physiotherapist. We move beyond the surface level of exercise execution to explore clinical biomechanics and injury prevention.
In this intensive 50-hour program, we dismantle the movement patterns required for the Essential and Intermediate repertoire. You won't just learn the exercises; you will learn how to teach them. We focus heavily on:
- Tactile Cueing: How to use touch and verbal commands to correct a student's pelvic tilt or spinal articulation.
- Anatomical Understanding: Why specific muscles fire, and how to safely regress or progress a movement for different body types.
- Professional Communication: Developing the confidence to lead a class, manage a room, and hold space for your students' wellness journeys.
Because we maintain small group sizes, the studio atmosphere is collaborative, not competitive. You are training with peers who will become your support network. Post-course, we provide mentorship and studio access for your logbook hours and mock assessments, ensuring you don't just finish the course—you walk out prepared to teach.
