STOTT PILATES® Intensive Reformer Course
Training & Curriculum
- Duration: 50 hours of in-person instruction conducted over approximately 10 days.
- Scope: Covers the complete STOTT PILATES® Intensive Reformer (IR) syllabus, specifically Essential and Intermediate levels.
- Instruction: Led by a certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer with a specific focus on clinical biomechanics and injury prevention.
- Cohort Size: Strictly limited to 6 to 8 students to ensure detailed personal attention.
Materials & Certification
- Required Resources: Includes mandatory Merrithew™ Comprehensive Reformer Manuals (1 & 2) and access to digital support videos.
- Outcome: Grants the Letter of Completion necessary to register for the final Merrithew™ certification exam.
Studio Infrastructure
- Equipment: Dedicated usage of authentic Merrithew™ SPX Max Reformers for the entire duration.
- Facility: Full access to the boutique studio in Kalyan Nagar including changing areas.
Post-Course Mentorship & Studio Access
Logbook Completion
- Self-Practice: Scheduled access to studio Reformers during non-peak hours to master physical repertoire.
- Teaching Logs: Authorization to bring a practice client to the studio to simulate teaching scenarios required for exam documentation.
- Observation: Permission to sit in and observe live classes conducted by senior instructors to learn professional cueing.
Exam Readiness
- Mock Assessment: Includes a mock practical exam session to simulate the rigorous Merrithew™ testing format.
- Expert Guidance: Periodic technique checks and anatomy Q&A support from the lead instructor to correct form before the final test.
