Practical Pilates Instructor Training Workshops
Step into our studio and see how we teach the science of movement. These sessions focus on real-world application, deep anatomy, and mastering tactile cues to help you lead confident, effective classes.
I believe in providing direct, tactile feedback. Here, I am assisting a student with proper form and leg alignment during a shoulder bridge exercise, ensuring she understands the correct muscle engagement.
Correcting posture is a fundamental skill you will learn. In this photo, I am providing a hands-on adjustment to a student in a quadruped position to ensure a neutral spine and proper core engagement.
A close-up of a tactile cue during a shell stretch. This kind of gentle guidance helps students feel the intended stretch and spinal articulation, a technique they will learn to apply with their own clients.
Here I am guiding a student through a spine stretch, helping her achieve proper spinal flexion and length. This hands-on approach is central to my teaching philosophy and the certification program.
This video shows me providing tactile cues to a student during an ab prep exercise. Learning how to give effective hands-on corrections is a core component of the instructor training program.
A glimpse into a personal training session, where I guide a student through various exercises. The certification program prepares you to lead both group classes and one-on-one sessions with confidence.
This short video captures moments from our practical exam for the Level 1 Mat Pilates certification, including hands-on practice, studying diagrams, and peer-to-peer teaching.
About this collection
You won't find lectures where you just listen and take notes. Every session here is about doing. We spend hours on teach-back sessions, where you learn to guide a peer through a movement using both verbal cues and tactile adjustments. This is where you learn to read a body, understanding when a client's spine isn't neutral or why their core isn't engaging, so you can correct them safely and effectively before you ever lead a real class.
Why Practical Skills Matter
In Pilates, reading a body is more important than memorizing a routine. Many certifications focus on choreography, but that leaves you stranded when a client walks in with chronic back pain or specific postural issues. My certification is designed to close that gap. You learn to analyze movement patterns, not just count repetitions.
Inside the Workshop
When you join an in-person intensive, expect full days of immersion. We rotate between theory and practice constantly.
- Tactile Cues: You practice exactly how to place your hands to guide spinal alignment or pelvic tilt without overwhelming the client.
- Peer Teach-Backs: You instruct your fellow students under my supervision. This is where the nervousness fades and you find your voice as an instructor.
- Anatomy in Motion: We do not just teach anatomy from a book. We look at the body in front of you, identify muscle imbalances, and design the modification right there on the mat.
Who This Is For

Aditi Singh
I am Dr. Aditi. I do not believe in weekend crash courses for something as intricate as the human body. My programs are intense because I want you to walk out ready to handle real bodies, real injuries, and real client goals, not just pass an exam.
