About Competition Glory
Competition prep is not just about moving heavy iron; it is about mastering the technical nuances of the commands and the psychology of the third attempt. My lifters spend months learning how to execute perfectly under the strict 'Start', 'Press', and 'Rack' commands, ensuring that when they hit the national platform, they don't get red-lighted for preventable mistakes. Whether it is managing water weight or finalizing opener selections, we handle the strategy so you can focus solely on the lift.
Training for the Platform
Winning is not an accident. At my studio in Matiala, we treat every session like a mock meet. We do not just aim for strength; we aim for competition-grade perfection.
What we focus on:
- Command Accuracy: We drill the official competition commands until they are second nature. If you do not wait for the 'Rack' command, you do not get the white light.
- Weak Point Training: We analyze your lift—whether it is a stalling deadlift off the floor or a weak lockout on bench—and use accessory work to specifically fix those gaps.
- Periodization & Peaking: We do not max out every day. We use structured loading blocks (Hypertrophy, Strength, Peaking) to ensure you are at your strongest on the actual day of the meet.
Why My Students Win
You see the medals in these photos, but the real work happens in the gym. My students like Beena Parihar and Sonia Dhaka are not just talented; they are disciplined. They understand that powerlifting is a game of patience and consistency. Whether we are prepping for Junior National Powerlifting Championships or North India selection trials, the goal remains the same: execute under pressure, follow the program, and leave nothing on the table.
Technical Support
- Equipped vs Raw: We provide instruction on gear usage, including knee wraps and squat suits for equipped categories.
- Video Analysis: During 1-on-1 sessions, we review your bar path frame-by-frame. If your stance width or toe angle is costing you kilos, we correct it.
This is a hardcore training facility focused on iron sports. If you are ready to stop guessing and start competing, come train with the squad.
