Powerlifting Competition & Performance Highlights
Stepping onto the platform is where the math meets reality. It is not just about the weight on the bar, but about how you handle the pressure when things do not go as planned.
Placed 6th overall here, but I was happy to be back on stage competing after a year and a half. The result is secondary to the process of preparing and showing up.
Someone told me conventional deadlift with a hook grip is a tough combination. That's exactly why I chose to do it. Four years into powerlifting, and the journey continues.
This was a tough day, lifting with a high fever. I failed my final 285kg attempt, but I showed up and gave my best. That's what matters.
About On The Platform
Most people think the platform is about the big numbers. It is actually about how you show up when you are feeling off. I have stepped on stage with a 100-degree fever and still hit my numbers. That is the mindset we build together. You do not need perfect conditions to be great, you just need to show up and do the work.
The platform is the ultimate test. It strips away the ego and leaves only the truth of your training. Whether you are prepping for your first meet or trying to smash a plateau, you need to understand that the preparation happens long before you step under the barbell.
My approach to competition prep is simple: we remove the guesswork. We analyze your technical inefficiencies, fix your bracing, and optimize your attempt selection so you walk onto the platform with confidence, not just hope. I have built my own strength from the ground up, with no coach and no shortcuts. I have learned the hard way that competition is not about beating others. It is about proving to yourself that your training, your diet, and your mental grit were enough to get the job done.
We train out of facilities like Relentless Strength in Domlur and Barbell Therapy in Jakkur, where we treat every session like it is competition day. This is for the lifters who want to stop making excuses and start hitting real, verified numbers. If you are ready to stop talking and start lifting, let us get to work.
Hook
I started as a quiet, insecure kid who thought he was too old to start lifting. Now at 31, I am stronger than I have ever been, both on and off the platform. I do not give you fluff or sales pitches. I give you the science, the technique, and the honest reality of what it takes to hit your personal best.
