About Competition Ready: My Victories & Prep

Competition prep isn't about guessing your attempts. It is about understanding the rules of the platform, the bar path, and how to stay calm when the weight on the bar feels heavy. I review your training videos to fix your bracing and ensure your technique holds up under pressure. When you train with me, you are not just getting a workout plan; you are getting a meet-day strategy that I have used to win state-level medals myself.

Training for the Platform

Powerlifting isn't just about moving the most weight in the gym. It is about moving the most weight legally, according to federation rules. When we prep for a meet, we focus on the specific commands: 'Start,' 'Press,' 'Rack,' and the dreaded 'Down' signal. If you don't practice these, you lose lifts even if you are strong enough to move the bar.

My Approach to Technical Analysis

Whether you are training with me in Delhi or coaching remotely, technique is non-negotiable. I use video analysis to break down your lifts frame by frame. We look at your bracing, your depth in the squat, and your bar path on the deadlift. If your knees are caving or your back is rounding, we fix it before you add more weight.

Strategy Wins Medals

I teach you how to pick your openers, second attempts, and third attempts. A common mistake I see in lifters is going too heavy on the first attempt and burning out. I help you manage your peaking cycles so you walk onto the platform with the highest probability of hitting a PR. My team at The Hercules Gym and my remote athletes work on the same principles that led me to gold at the Rajasthan State Championships. If you are serious about competing, stop lifting blindly and start training with a purpose.

I started at 65kg and fought my way to 92kg, so I know exactly what it takes to build real, raw strength. The gym is my second home and my coaching style is simple: we work hard, we track every lift, and we don't slack off. If you are ready to stop guessing and start winning, let's train.
