About The Core of Ashtanga: Asanas & Vinyasa Flow
This isn't about perfectly holding a pose for a photo. It is about the rhythm of your breath synchronized with the traditional Sanskrit count. Whether you are in our Dwarka or Vikaspuri studio, we focus on safe alignment, using props to help you progress rather than just straining to achieve a shape.
The Ashtanga Vinyasa system is a disciplined practice, but that does not mean it is rigid. When you join our classes, we guide you through the Primary Series—Surya Namaskar A and B, standing sequences, and seated asanas—but we always meet you where your body is today.
Why We Use Sanskrit Counting
You might find it technical at first, but following the count (Ekam, Dve, Trini...) does something specific for your brain. It stops you from overthinking and forces you to stay in the present moment. It creates a meditative flow where you don't worry about what you are doing tomorrow; you just focus on the breath and the movement.
Accessible Practice for Everyone
We believe aapka pehla kartavya (your first duty) is to take care of your body. If you cannot touch your toes or find a pose difficult, we do not ignore it. We use props like blocks, straps, and even wall ropes to ensure you can practice safely. Our goal is progress, not perfection.
