Kids' Yoga Classes for Strength and Discipline
We don't teach kids to sit still in silence. We teach them to move, build core strength, and develop the discipline of a warrior through functional flows and active training.
Our junior squad working on their bridge poses. We teach them proper form from a young age to build a strong foundation for any sport they choose.
Another angle of the kids' yoga class. You can see their determination as they hold the pose, building strength and flexibility together.
This video shows our kids' class engaged in ground-based drills. We use pads and other equipment to make the exercises engaging and effective for building coordination.
About Kids' Yoga: Start Young, Stay Strong
Don't expect soft meditation here. In our kids' sessions, we use 'Animal Flow' movements like the Gorilla or Crab walk to build real core strength and fix the posture issues caused by heavy school bags. It is sweaty, disciplined, and keeps them moving for the full 45 minutes on our safety-rated mats.
Training, Not Just Stretching
We do not do incense, soft lights, or sitting still. At Delhi Combat, we believe kids have immense energy, and our job is to channel that into strength, coordination, and focus. Our sessions are built around functional mobility. We use movements that mimic animals to get kids engaging their entire body, which builds a foundation for any sport they choose to play later.
Why Our Approach Works
- Posture Correction: Kids spend too much time slumped over desks. We prioritize wheel and tree poses to counter that slouching habit and build a strong back.
- Small Group Focus: We keep groups tight so our instructors can actually see the kids. We use verbal form correction to ensure they are moving safely without hovering over them.
- Safety First: Training happens on 25mm thick EVA foam interlocking mats. It cushions every jump, tumble, and fall, letting them push harder with less fear.
Building the 'Yoddha' Mindset
This is not a hobby class. It is a squad environment. We teach kids to respect the coach, follow the flow, and push themselves when they are tired. Whether they are training at our Rohini academy or our Model Town setup, the goal is the same: to build a child who understands that hard work feels good. If you want your child to learn discipline while burning off excess energy, this is where they belong.
Delhi Combat
I am Delhi Combat, but just call me DC. We don't want to make kids soft; we make them strong. My team creates a space where discipline is the first rule, but laughing through a tough sweat session is the second.
