A glimpse into my practice, where breath, movement, and mantra come together to help you reset your nervous system and reconnect with your inner self.

A moment of pure connection with the sun and sea, captured in the heart-opening Ardhachakra Asana. This is what the practice feels like for me: a fearless surrender, finding freedom and light within. It’s a reminder that yoga isn't just a practice on the mat, but a way of living with grace and openness.

This is the essence of our community. I guide you to connect with your inner potential, and in return, the energy of the group supports us all. Hear from one of our members about how this practice feels—it's a journey that is both challenging and deeply relaxing, opening hearts and minds.

I am here to hold space for you. In our sessions, surrounded by the peaceful energy of the Sangat (our community), we journey inward. This image captures the stillness and focus we cultivate together, allowing each person to connect with their own inner wisdom.

I believe we are all miracles, and this is a short, guided meditation to help you connect with that truth. Using the "Guru Ram Das Guru" mantra and a simple mudra, I will guide you to open yourself to receiving blessings and manifesting miracles in your own life. This is a practice you can return to anytime you need a reminder of your own power.

This is the magic that happens when we gather for a retreat. Under the vast night sky, surrounded by the warmth of a sacred fire and the energy of the community, we connect on a soul level. These immersive experiences are a pilgrimage back to yourself.

I extend a special invitation to the sacred gathering of women. In these circles, we create a safe and loving space where the feminine spirit feels heard, held, and empowered. Join us to immerse yourself in the beauty of sisterhood and the expansive power of being a woman. Satnam.

This is Kundalini Yoga: the yoga of consciousness. It is a complete technology that uses posture, breath, mantra, and meditation to bring you back to balance. This image, from a workshop at DownDog Yoga, reflects the calm and centered state we cultivate in every class.

Fatigue is your body's wisdom asking you to rest. In this short video, I demonstrate a simple restorative posture using props to help relax your nervous system and rejuvenate your energy. This is a gentle yet powerful way to honor your body's needs and find deep relaxation.

About Featured

Whether we are working through a specific Kriya at a studio or connecting during a live weekend session, my focus is on the technology of Kundalini Yoga. We do not just move, we work directly with the nervous system to shift your state, meaning you will leave feeling less like you just finished a workout and more like you have returned to your own center.

My practice is built on the belief that we already possess the tools we need to find peace; we just need to learn how to access them. Kundalini Yoga is not about flexibility or fitness trends. It is a science that uses movement, breathwork, and mantra to clear blockages and restore your energy.

How We Practice

Whether you are joining me for our weekend online group sessions or attending an in-person workshop in Delhi or Gurgaon, you can expect a structured, intentional environment. In our weekly sessions, we dive into 75-90 minute classes that include Kriyas and Pranayama. If you are looking for something more immersive, I host regular thematic workshops and retreats that focus on deeper emotional release, such as our full moon circles or women’s gatherings.

Your First Step

If you are feeling stuck, fatigued, or simply disconnected, you do not need to be an expert to start. My sessions are open to everyone—from those who have never unrolled a mat to experienced practitioners. I provide PDF resources for mantras so you can continue your practice at home. If you prefer a more focused approach, my 1-on-1 private healing sessions allow us to address specific concerns like trauma release or energetic misalignment. My goal is to hold space for you to show up exactly as you are, and grow alongside our community, or Sangat, as we navigate this journey together.

I'm Amrit Nam. I see yoga as a way to return to yourself when life feels heavy, not just as a set of physical exercises. Whether we are in a studio or on Zoom, I focus on creating a space where you can be exactly as you are, without judgment.
