About this collection
When you walk into our studio, you are not just learning a technique, you are starting to see color differently. Whether you choose a quick indigo dip or an afternoon of eco-printing, you will learn to trust the process, embrace the beautiful unpredictability of natural pigments, and walk away with a piece that is truly yours.
At Color Ashram, we believe that learning should be as conscious as it is creative. Our workshops in the Hebbal Industrial Area are designed to strip away the industrial noise of modern fashion and get back to basics. You will use ingredients straight from nature—leaves, flowers, roots, and rich indigo vats—to create textiles that are kind to your skin and the planet.
Choose Your Experience
We have designed sessions to fit whatever time you have available:
- Express Experience (45–90 mins): Perfect if you are traveling through Mysuru or just want to dip your toes in. You will work on a small item like a handkerchief or pouch using our pre-prepared natural vats.
- Half-Day Technique Workshop (3 hours): For those who want to learn the 'why' alongside the 'how.' We cover fiber science and mordant chemistry while you practice specific techniques like Shibori, batik, or block printing on larger canvases like tote bags or stoles.
- Professional Masterclass (2 Days): A deep dive for artists and designers. This is where we cover proprietary zero-toxin recipes, premium silk dyeing, and advanced color chemistry to give you professional-grade skills.
Why Learn Here
Our studio is a space where hands get stained and minds get quiet. It is a place for travelers needing a creative break, locals wanting to pick up a new skill, and students exploring sustainable design. You are not just buying a class; you are joining a conversation about sustainable textiles. By the time you leave, you will have more than a finished product—you will have an understanding of how we can fix fashion, one natural vat at a time.
