Block Printing Workshops & Live Event Activities

Experience the joy of traditional hand-block printing. Whether for a corporate gathering, a wedding, or a weekend activity, I create shared spaces for us to slow down, get messy, and print with heart.

To celebrate Women's Day, we hosted a free block printing activity at a local mall. This image shows our cupcake block, which participants used to print their own tote bags. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill and celebrate the creative spirit in all of us.

This video is a recap of our wonderful time at a Christmas bazaar, where we showcased our kids' kits and newspaper gift wrap for the first time. It was fantastic to meet so many people, share my craft, and connect with other local artisans.

I love seeing what my customers create. Here are some beautiful prints made by a participant who learned from the comfort of her home. She used a leaf block and a geometric border block to create these lovely designs on paper.

Block printing is a calming and rewarding activity. It allows you to slow down, focus, and create authentic pieces of art for yourself or as heartfelt gifts for loved ones. I offer offline workshops for personal sessions and events, so get in touch to book a spot.

It is always a pleasure to receive photos of work from people who have taken my workshops. These prints, one with a leaf pattern and the other a geometric border, were made by a customer at home. It shows how easy it is to get started with just a few tools.

Creating authentic pieces of art for yourself and your loved ones is one of the greatest joys of block printing. It is a mindful craft that helps you connect with your creative side. I invite you to join one of my workshops and experience it for yourself.

This video captures the vibrant energy of a weekend flea market. It was a joy to set up my stall, meet so many wonderful people, and see them create their own prints. These events are all about family, fun, and sharing the love of handmade crafts.

About this collection

When I host a live printing station or workshop, the focus isn't on getting it perfect—it's about the process. We use hand-carved teak blocks and safe, organic paints to create patterns on items like tote bags, bunting, or paper. It's a tactile, mindful way to gather, and whether you are five or fifty-five, you’ll walk away with a piece of art that carries your own unique touch.

For me, block printing is more than just making a pattern—it is about slowing down and connecting. Whether I am setting up a live station at a wedding, a corporate team-building event, or a community bazaar, the core idea is always the same: making art accessible and tactile.

At live events, I bring a variety of hand-carved teak wood blocks and organic, skin-safe inks. We typically print on items like tote bags, fabric buntings, or even custom stationery. It is a low-pressure environment where guests can experiment with different motifs—from florals and geometrics to fun shapes for kids. Because we celebrate the imperfections—a slightly uneven print or a faint smudge—people feel immediately comfortable trying it, even if they have never picked up an art tool before.

If you are organizing a corporate event, this is a wonderful way to help a team unwind. For weddings, mehendi ceremonies, or personal celebrations, it offers a creative, hands-on activity that brings guests together. I also host dedicated, smaller workshops where we go deeper into the history of this thousand-year-old craft. We cover the basics of pressure and ink application, ensuring you learn the rhythm of the block. Everything I use, from the teak wood to the paints, is chosen to be sustainable and child-safe. Let’s bring some messy, heartfelt art to your next gathering.

I’m Pooja, and I believe there’s something special about handmade art that a machine just can’t replicate. My journey began with art classes, and now I share the joy of block printing at events and workshops across Bengaluru. I love seeing the spark of creativity in people when they hold a wooden block for the first time.
