Inspiring Public and Commercial Spaces Design
We build offices, clubhouses, and schools that prioritize human interaction, natural light, and a connection to the local context.
The multi-purpose hall at the Meraki Clubhouse, designed for community events and performances. We used a vaulted ceiling with integrated lighting and a patterned tile backdrop to create a space that is both elegant and functional, with excellent acoustics.
The badminton court at the Meraki Clubhouse is defined by a warm, ambient glow. We designed the lighting to be indirect and atmospheric, creating a pleasant playing environment that feels distinct from a typical sports hall.
A creative screen made of badminton rackets separates the viewing gallery from the court at the Meraki Clubhouse. This playful detail is an example of how we like to incorporate thematic elements directly into our architectural design.

About this collection
When we design a public space like the Meraki Clubhouse, we start by looking at how people will actually use the area. For the badminton court, rather than settling for standard lighting, we created an indirect, ambient glow to make the environment feel calmer and more engaging. It is about understanding that a commercial space needs to function for many, but still feel personal to the individual using it.
Our approach to public and commercial architecture is grounded in the idea that a building should serve the people who inhabit it, whether they are working in an office, learning in a school, or relaxing in a clubhouse.
Designing for Connection
In projects like 'The Amber Encase,' we utilized bold color palettes and geometric partitions not just for visual impact, but to create distinct zones that balance privacy with connectivity. By using reflective surfaces and intentional sightlines, we transformed simple circulation corridors into experiences that encourage movement and interaction.
The Technical Foundation
Great architecture needs a strong technical backbone. In our office designs, such as 'TheraNym,' we integrate features like brick jaalis to manage natural light and ventilation, which helps lower energy loads while adding character to the facade. We coordinate closely with structural engineers and contractors to ensure that complex elements—like large spans for halls or cantilevered structures—are executed with precision.
Our Process
We believe in a collaborative workflow. From the initial concept and site analysis to the final site supervision, we stay involved. Whether we are planning a master layout to maximize FSI or detailing a reflected ceiling plan for an office lobby, our goal is always the same: creating spaces that feel timeless, functional, and deeply connected to their environment.
Collage Architecture Studio
We are Collage Architecture Studio. We piece together different stories, people, and ideas to build spaces that feel real. Our team works together on everything from the first sketch to the final site visit, making sure our design serves the people who use it.
