Bespoke Residential Architectural Design
Concept & Narrative Design
- Site & Climate Analysis: Optimization of natural light and ventilation based on sun path, wind direction, and existing vegetation studies.
- Spatial Layouts: Creation of 2-3 design options focusing on volumes, connectivity, and solid-void ratios.
- 3D Visualization: Photorealistic renders of the exterior facade and key internal volumes like double-height spaces and courtyards.
Technical Documentation (GFC)
- Civil Working Drawings: Detailed dimensioned plans for masonry, lintel levels, and finishing work.
- Structural Coordination: Integration of complex features like cantilevers, skylights, and floating staircases with structural engineers.
- MEP Systems: Comprehensive electrical layouts, plumbing piping diagrams, and rainwater harvesting integration.
- Joinery Details: Specific fabrication drawings for doors, windows, gates, railings, and jaalis.
Material & Execution Support
- Material Selection: Curation of external finishes such as wire-cut bricks, exposed concrete, and natural stone cladding.
- Sanction Drawings: Preparation of technical drawings required for municipal approvals (BBMP/BDA norms).
- Site Supervision: Periodic visits by the Project Architect at critical stages (foundation, roof casting, finishing) to ensure design fidelity.
Commercial & Institutional Architectural Design
Master Planning & Zoning
- Massing Strategy: Analysis of site constraints to maximize FSI utilization while strictly adhering to setbacks and fire norms.
- Circulation Planning: Efficient flow design for high-traffic areas like corridors, lobbies, and emergency exits.
- Facade Engineering: Creation of distinct visual identities using screens, modern glazing, or jaalis to establish brand presence.
Technical Engineering
- Structural Span Design: Planning for large column-free spaces suitable for auditoriums, halls, or open offices.
- Service Core Integration: Optimization of vertical transport (lift shafts), HVAC ducting, and fire staircases.
- Performance Design: Daylighting analysis to maximize natural light in workspaces and classrooms, reducing energy loads.
Documentation & Oversight
- Construction Drawings: Complete set of civil, elevation, and section drawings for contractor execution.
- Reflected Ceiling Plans: Layouts for integrated lighting and AC vents in common areas.
- Landscape Integration: Design of interaction zones, amphitheatres, and breakout spaces.
- Quality Control: Scheduled site inspections to approve bulk materials (glass, cladding) and verify structural integrity.
About Architectural Design
Why Architecture Means More to Us
I see buildings as more than just structures - each one is a piece of someone’s life. My process strips away the extra, leaving only what matters. Nothing fancy, just spaces that feel right.
How I Work With You
- It starts with a good chat. I want to know what makes you tick, what you dream about for your space.
- You’ll get to see everything from rough sketches to 3D visuals. No surprises - you’ll know what’s coming.
- I bring in engineers, contractors, and artists I trust, so every detail gets done properly.
What I Create
- Bespoke homes and nature-integrated homes that fit your life and connect to the land.
- Community housing and apartments built for real people, with spaces that help folks meet and mingle.
- Offices and commercial spaces with a clean, minimalist building design vibe.
- Clubs, resorts, public spaces - places people actually want to hang out in.
- Schools and campuses that make you want to learn.
Some Real Stories
- Split House: The big tree on the plot? Didn’t cut it. Made it the heart of the home, split the roof so light floods in.
- An Earthy Affair: Exposed brick, open courtyards, sunlight everywhere. Feels both rooted and fresh.
- TheraNym Office: Used brick jaalis (perforated screens) to play with light and give the building its own identity.
What Matters Most
- Daylight-driven spaces are my jam. Light changes everything.
- I’m mad about earthy material palette - brick, wood, concrete. Honest stuff that ages well.
- Every project is context-sensitive architecture - I listen to the local ooru and climate to make something that belongs.

My Story
We’re Collage Architecture Studio, and like our name, we piece together different stories, people, and ideas to make something real and beautiful. Been at it in Bangalore for 15 years now. Our vibe? Less is more, always. The team’s like family—sometimes we win, sometimes we lose (especially at cricket), but always together. Even a shady spot under a tree on site can spark a new design. Every project’s got a bit of our memory in it.
My Work
What we do - Architecture, interior design, and urban planning for homes, offices, resorts, clubs, and more.
How we design - We use daylight-driven design and context-sensitive architecture for spaces that feel timeless and connected.
Our way of working - Collaboration’s our thing—consultants, contractors, artists, all in, from sketch to final space.
Projects we love - Modern homes, bespoke office interiors, resorts—any project where we can play with green landscape integration and spatial volumes.
